Black Belt Attitude: No Excuses, Just Effort

Benjamin Franklin would have made a great black belt teacher. He once said, “I never knew a person who was good at making excuses, who was good at anything else.”

He couldn’t have said it more perfectly regarding people who just don’t follow through. “I’m too busy;” “I didn’t know about it;” “I can’t do it.”

Those are just a few on the long list of excuses conjured up by people who often don’t want to admit they don’t have the courage, strength, or skills to do it.

You don’t need any excuses for trying. Black Belts always give it a try!
