Marketing Your Martial Arts School to Local Schools
Since 2015, Black Belt Karate Studio in Racine has been successfully partnering with local elementary schools to create a win-win situation: teaching martial arts while raising funds for the schools.
In this four-week "Karate Fundraiser" program, the schools and their PTAs keep 100% of the proceeds. That’s right, 100%. It's a simple but powerful model that benefits everyone involved.
The students not only learn martial arts but also engage in character development lessons, all while having fun and staying active. The parents, meanwhile, love seeing their kids enjoy themselves and gain confidence.
A Community-Wide Success Story
This program has been hosted at multiple schools, including Olympia Brown, Roosevelt, Racine Montessori, and Westridge Elementary. In September of 2017 alone, these events raised over $4,000!
At the end of the four-week course, something special happens. Each school holds a graduation ceremony at Black Belt Karate Studio. This is where the kids get to show off their new karate skills, earn their first white belt, and proudly break their first karate board.
Imagine the energy and excitement in the room—kids feeling like champions, parents beaming with pride, and the school benefiting from a successful fundraiser. It’s a great way to build relationships with local schools, engage your community, and grow your martial arts school’s presence.
Get Involved and Make an Impact
If you’re looking to boost your martial arts school's reputation in the local community, partnering with schools is a proven strategy. It’s not just about promoting martial arts—it’s about making a positive impact on young lives and helping schools raise much-needed funds.
