Here's an insightful look into the success of our recent one-week martial arts summer camp, which quickly filled up with thirty eager young participants.

Wednesday

A highlight was our trip to Florida Caverns State Park, where the kids dined inside a cave and enjoyed swimming and a climbing wall. The afternoon was filled with martial arts practice. Cost: $90.00

Thursday

A dolphin cruise on a glass-bottom boat was a delightful treat, followed by character development drills at the school.Cost: $110.00

Friday

The week culminated with a thrilling day at Shipwreck Island Water Park, packed with slides, wave pools, and tube rides. Cost: $440.00

Organizing the Camp

Transportation was creatively managed with the help of donated vans from my church, requiring only a modest donation and fuel costs. Two volunteer moms helped ensure adequate supervision.

Total Expenses:

  • Admission to Events: $965
  • Food: $200
  • Gas: $100
  • Donation for Vans: $200
  • Total: $1,465

Revenue and Profit: Charging $150 per child, the camp generated $4,500 in tuition, resulting in a profit of $3,035.

This structured, fun-filled week not only provided the children with unforgettable experiences but also significantly benefited our school, demonstrating the potential for substantial profit through well-organized summer camps.
