Last week we talked about being optimistic. Well, to be an optimist you must first learn to look for the good in things. In other words, try not to dwell on negativity.
It’s very easy to focus on the bad that’s constantly all around us. But that only brings you down and makes you depressed. Instead, it would be much better to focus on the good qualities in a person or situation.
It doesn’t take any additional effort and it makes you feel better inside. There’s a positive side to just about everything. You’ll be an even happier person once you find it.
