Use National Days, Months, and Weeks celebrations to create ways to connect with your community, attract new students, and showcase your school’s values year-round.

National Days, Months, and Weeks celebrations present unique opportunities to market your martial arts school.

By aligning your school's programs and promotions with these observances, you can engage with your community, attract new students, and showcase the values and benefits of martial arts training.

For example, during National Bullying Prevention Month, offer free anti-bullying seminars, or promote self-care during National Stress Awareness Month.

For most of these, you will probably not do much, but we want to make sure you are aware of all of the annual events that YOU CAN TURN into a media and community marketing opportunity. 

Continue to stoke the fire for all of your contacts, year-round. Just make sure your focus is on the good that the special day, week, or month offers your community than your offer.

4 Weeks Out – Email your past and present students, along with prospects, media, and local organizations that you will be doing something to promote a special event this month. Offer specials, partnerships, demo opportunities, media interviews, and in-class promotions.

3 Weeks Out – Send media releases out and/or write articles for local media outlets (newspapers, corporate newsletters, local papers, etc…). Articles can be inspiring stories about your students, tips, nutrition, self-defense etc…
